Commissions do not affect which products we recommend or how we rank them. Commission rates differ by product category, and we have never chosen a pick on that basis; several of the guides on this site rank a lower-commission product above a higher-commission one. No brand pays for placement, and no brand reviews a guide before it publishes.

We do not show prices on this site. Retailers set and change them, and a price typed into a page by hand is out of date the week after it is typed. Every buy button sends you to the retailer, where the current price and availability are the only ones that count.
