Effective July 2026. This policy explains what information PawWise collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've tried to write it in plain English rather than legalese.
What we collect
- Email address. If you sign up for our free "First 7 Days" puppy plan or any other newsletter/opt-in on this site, we collect the email address you provide.
- Anonymous traffic analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how people use the site. It's cookieless and doesn't track you individually — it gives us aggregate numbers like page views and load times, not a personal profile.
- Affiliate link cookies. When you click an outbound link to one of the programs we review, the affiliate network (not PawWise) may set a cookie on your browser so the merchant can credit us if you buy something. We don't control or see the contents of these cookies.
How we use it
We use your email solely to send you the newsletter, guide, or update you asked for. We use aggregate analytics to see which content is useful and improve it. We do not use your information for anything beyond these purposes.
Third parties
We share information with a small number of service providers, and only as needed to run the site:
- Email provider (such as Brevo) — stores your email address so we can send the newsletter you signed up for.
- Affiliate networks — may set a cookie when you click an outbound link, as described above.
- Cloudflare — provides cookieless web analytics and basic site infrastructure.
We never sell your personal data. Full stop.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from any email at any time using the link in the footer of every message we send. If you're in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA) or a similar jurisdiction, you also have the right to request access to, or deletion of, the personal data we hold about you. Email us and we'll handle it promptly.
Children
PawWise is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
