PawWise exists to help everyday dog owners fix common behavior problems without spending a fortune on in-person trainers. There are dozens of "online dog trainers" out there and most owners have no way to tell the good from the recycled. That's the gap we fill.
How we review
We evaluate each program on the things that actually decide whether it works for you: the training method (we only recommend humane, reward-based, force-free approaches), how the lessons are delivered, the quality of support, the price and refund policy, and what cited user feedback reports after several weeks of use, when a traceable source is available. Our comparisons are research-based — we assess published curricula, trainer credentials, and aggregated user feedback rather than claiming we personally trained a dog with every product.
How we stay free
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That's what keeps PawWise free to read. It never changes our rankings — where a program lands is decided before any commission is considered, and we're happy to point out weaknesses in products that would pay us. Read our full affiliate disclosure.
A note on serious behavior issues
Online programs are excellent for everyday training. But genuine aggression, severe fear, or sudden behavior changes deserve a qualified veterinary behaviorist in person. When in doubt, talk to your vet first.
